Is FedEx Raising There Mins?

I looked on there web site for the official word, no change. But heard they might be raising there mins., at least for a given weight of aircraft, not PIC or anything just weight. Some where over the 51,000 lbs. mark. Is this maybe due to the purple nugget program? I hope this is not the case, as it would affect a lot of pilots trying to get on.

Any FedEx guys heard of this?

And if it is true, what if you have done the meet and greet, are you out until you have 1000 PIC over a certain weight?

I haven't heard anything about raising flight time mins. However, they have unofficially raised the recommendation mins from 3 recs up to 5 recs. Too many civilian pilots were hired recently so the military guys decided they want to make it harder for us.

I have heard the 5 rec thing from two different ACP's now. This was around Feb. / March time frame. It's certainly possible that since then, maybe they re-thought this and dropped it back down to 3. Hopefully this is the case.
