Is working at ASA that bad? how long have you been there? I know about the interminable contract negociations, but what else is bothering you there? What is your schedule?

Just curious...

Pop some popcorn, pull up a chair and surf through the ASA/DCI bitchboard (otherwise known as the regional forum) for the answers to your questions.

I have been at ASA for almost 2 years. The crews are great and for the few in SLC the people you work with are outstanding. (ATL has good people too but it is still ATL) The only thing that is making me look for another job is the commute. Living in DFW and trying to get to SLC or ATL makes for a lot of stress and less time with the family. If ASA was still in DFW then I things for me would be different. For all of the young people looking to get into this job live in your domicile, you will like you QOL much better.

My schedule is 10 days off a month, I choose this to be in SLC and have no problem with that choice. In ATL I could hold a lot better. I just like the flying in SLC better, just like when I was based in ATl I bid trips that flew out of CVG and TPA.
