Interviewing not until Fall....???(SWA)

Has anyone heard this?

I heard they may not conduct any more interviews until Fall.

Any info on this would be great.

PT yesterday in DAL, word is 3 classes (instead of 2) a month for a few months.

It appears the pool is deep enough that it will take until Oct-Dec to empty it. If the rumors are true that instead of 380-420 pilots this year they will hire 510 now (which may be true the way that classes have ramped to 3 a month) then the pool will empty earlier. Clearly there will be interviewing again but interviewing late last year and early this year was based on 750 pilots being hired in the event additional leased 37's were purchased, something that didn't occur. When that didn't happen the interviewing resulted in them getting "ahead" of themselves. It may be late summer, early fall for interviewing just so the pool doesn't get too deep.

4 days / week
~192 - 210 interviewees / month
~ 20 - 30% hire rate over the last couple months = 38 - 48 hired at 20% and 58 - 63 at 30%

Do those numbers sound about right?

I was in class with Cactus and from what I heard in the halls the 2 xtra classes for april and may will happen but the interviewing will not until late summer or early fall as your heard.
