For those of you who have interviewed lately, what is the most common color/type of suits you see at the interview

Surprisingly, bright yellow. With wingtip shoes.

Be very careful what you choose. The airlines don't care at all about how you carry yourself, or your past flying. The job hinges on your color coordination. Don't waste your time with that pish-posh ATP stuff. I heard GQ has been spammed with applications to the majors lately.

Right,
Don't wear a navy suit, white shirt, and nicely shined black shoes under any circumstances. All the other stupid candidates will be wearing that boring stuff! Also, there's no sense in planning on your personality and knowledge of aviation to carry the day; so something in a catchy velvet, crazy tie, no socks, or flip-flops will make them remember you, for sure. Also, don't forget to add your favorite cologne and a mullet, or perhaps a subtle earring. Good luck!

nobody wears suits anymore.

interviews are more casual.

khakis and a cool shirt will suffice.

I thought it was ignorant if you lacked grey matter and stupid if you didn't?

You're best chance of getting the job will be a suit that charges discrimination against professionals who can't dress themselves without going to the internet for advice.

Nah, retro is in:

Lime green leisure suit with white patent leather shoes and matching belt and man purse for your materials.

Elvis style pompadour with sideburns.

Don't forget the gold bling...

Or you could do what I saw one guy do...wear his uniform from his current employer...SPPOOORRRRRTY!

Can't go wrong either way...you'd be so in...

Actually, it's touche with an accent on the final e. It's French. Maybe that would impress the interviewers....:D !!!!

Memo to self: work on the jokes, make them obvious!

There's no way I'd get away with that.

By the way, unlike you "veterans" out there, maybe crj driver wants to get his dream job, so he doesn't have to settle for Jet Blue.

When the talk about wearing a blue suit, please do NOT accessorize with the JB shirt, as they will know immediately that you're nothing more than a Smurf Wannabe.

When I interview I use an old aloha shirt with cut-offs and flip-flops with the use of a few dudes and a shaka thrown in now and then.

And a skinny leather tie. Or a bolo. Don't be afraid to show your roots.
