When you guys went for your interview for your first regional job, how much interest did the company take in the type of multi engine time you had. Were they looking for PIC time by way of teaching or safety pilot time building or were they just interested in the total time ?

Thanks

I am sure they are looking for PIC time versus safety pilot time. The depth in which they scrutinize flight time varies by the company. I have heard of some that actually total up flight time at the interview, others that dont even look at the logbook. I would venture the more PIC time you have the better off you will be, safety pilot logging can raise a BS flag at times.

most of the interviews i went to the interviewer used my logbooks as coasters, so i wouldn't worry about it much.
