so tell me, why do you want to work for this airline??

because i have a navy blue uniform with silver stripes hanging in my closet and can't afford to buy another one....please tell me i can use that here!

anyone have a better answer to that stupid question??

Can't go wrong with "One thing I was really impressed by when looking at all the carriers out there was how great the quality of people are that work here."

"Because you have a good QOL and pay a living wage, Don't you?"

Oh, wait a minute.........

Try being honest. If you think that's a stupid question, you haven't flown in the airlines yet. There are much more stupid questions than that one. Questions that are straight forward shouldn't require an angle to answer. I say tell them the truth. If you have to lie, then it's probably not a good place to work.

i went on that interview only because they called and i had nothing else to do...it was with mesa. still trying to decide what to do. just got furloughed from xj and the only reason i'm dragging my feet on going someplace else is because of the awesome guys (and gals) i flew with and of course the great CPs in dtw! anyone else having this struggle with some words?

There will always be great guys in gals in any industry. And those great guys and gals are not the ones signing your pay check.
