Anyone out there know of someone who can work face to face to help me get ready for an interview? No firm date yet, but I am hoping for something soon. Apps in everywhere...

I know some guys also work on the phone, but I haven't done a lot of interviewing and want some solid training. Any recommendations?

Are you still in the military? If so, the Navy has seminars with Reuhlin associates that are awesome compared to TAP class. They travel around the country to different Navy fleet areas. Don't know if other services use them though.

If you are still in, let me know and I'll see if I can find my info for you.

Good luck,

Catfish

Left a while back...doing some odds and ends flying otherwise. Trying to stay current and involved.

Craig trains for SWA, but what about ATA? Jetblue? FedEx? I will also contact some old transition office specialists.

You can aways go with Air Inc (jet-jobs.com or 1-800-jetjobs). They may be pricey but they know all the airlines and their interview processes. Some folks will trash them on this board, though. Check them out, make your own call. If you subscribe to their magazine for about $39 a year, you can access all their archives with tons of info on any company you want and articles about interviewing tips too. For the money, that's a real bargain.

Another source is AlbieF15 (on this board). His website is EmeraldCoastInterviewConsulting.com. He gets high praise but I'm not sure who all he covers.

Hope this helps,

Catfish

Thanks for the kind words, folks...

I had a client trying to get together for a workshop in late April or early May in Chicago. If anyone wants to have a workshop around ORD in ealry May please let me know via website or PM.

Craig Thorton also does good work for SWA wannabes. His links are also on the website below.

I don't know Albie, but one of my old FO's recently used Albies' services and was subsequently successfully interviewed at JetBlue. My buddy credits Albie for his success. BTW, my friend tells me that Jetblue is EVERYTHING he got into the career for. (pardon the grammer, it sounds better spoken by an excited newhire)

New GAMEPLAN!

Chicago pilot and some friends are rolling into St Louis on 6 May for a workshop. I have room for 2 more if anyone else wants to join us. PM if we can help you.

Engima--that pilot in question was a hoot. He is a great guy, and will be a great fit. You have to know, however, he also was pretty pleased at Spirit and was very happy with his co-workers. He had nothing but praise for everyone there. Congrats on the growth and the new jets!
