I'll be travelling to St. Maarten in two weeks for a week long stay in Maho. Does anyone have any intel or suggestions as to what to do, where to go, what to see, things of that nature? I mean other than the obvious of going to the Sunset Beach Bar and getting sandblasted.

Please PM any useful info, especially info regarding the "good" nude beaches. :pimp:

Cheers!

Don't disappoint me then. :pimp:

Well I didn't see any Antonovs, Tupolevs or Sukhois down there so apparently ya let me down Russkie. :pimp:

Awesome trip, I think I consumed at least my weight in rum while down there.

Then at least tell me you weren't one of those sissy pilots who rolled a couple thousand feet down runway 9 at idle before letting er rip. Saw a pair of 757s that did that and really let down all the folks on the beach.

That Spirit A320 though....... dang! Parked it at the threshold and went full blast for a few seconds before brakes release. Why pay for microderm abrasion and a chemical peel when you can have THAT.

No way! I'm in a cargo 727 so we let it rip too! Not only that, but we take every inch of runway that we can getting us closer to the fence. If we lose an engine we are screwed there, so we get bank hard after rotation to avoid the hills.

Some guy stood on the top of the fence the first time I was there. I wish I could have seen him after we did the takeoff.

Ahhh, I was wondering who that pilot was, wearing no shirt and a "Bite me" hat. :pimp:

You should've seen the two guys that went down that road on a little yellow scooter, shot around 3 stopped cars and ended up on the business end of the Air France A340. Driver just about lost it and the passenger took a faceplant into the sand, it was hilarious! Too bad I didn't have the camera, but then again at the time my hands were busy double-fisting a beer and a 151 daiquiri.
