Allegiant and Omni

Sorry, but they both stink!! Allegiant likes you to work to death..Selling stuff for your money!! They only pay $13.33 a flt hr..THAT STINKSSSS
for all the risks you take flying!!!
Don't do it!!!

Omni...

I'm not sure about Allegiant, but as far as Omni goes, don't do it. Unless your okay with being gone 40 days at a time, being screwed with trips, proforming illegal trips, days off being taken away, and getting paid pennies to do it, go for it. If not, go work somewhere else. I worked for a regional for 5 years before Omni and never once dreaded going to work. At Omni the final straw was coming back to the US at 10:30am after being gone for 17 days and getting a call from scheduling saying they were taking all 4 days of my off days(this was the 3rd time in 2 months) and sending me back out to Europe later on in the evening with illegal rest.

If you have any more questions, I would be happy to answer them. Send me a PM if you need to.

Allegiant ??????

Do you know what the hour guarantee is for Allegiant per month? And is it only $13.33 per flight hour? Are there any other perks?

I have heard no positives about either one... I'd say "Strongly avoid"

Do you by chance know what the guarantee for flt hours per month is? Is it like 70 or so? But it's Vegas, isn't that a good perk? It's got to be better than where I'm at now......

But it's Vegas, isn't that a good perk?

Mile - that is truely a personal decision. I DO like Vegas, but only in small doses. Since I'm a mil flyer, I spend 2 - 3 weeks in Vegas at a time usually in around 6 month increments doing some kind of exercise out at Nellis AFB. 2 to 3 weeks is just fine, but that is plenty...I can only take the fake people, the expensive food prices, and the absolute filth on the strip and main streets (along with the little dudes that always are trying to give you the porn handouts).

I do happen to have quite a few mil buds that live there and are based at Nellis. From all of them - it gets REAL old, really quick. After about a year living there most don't even frequent the strip anymore.

Vegas is great to visit and I think the commercial "what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas" sums it up best.

Best of luck.
