Just a heads up to any crews laying over in Downtown Indy through this weekend. The Barbershop Harmony Society is holding its annual convention and competition all this week and you may encounter the loudest lobby crowd you've ever heard. They're all a bunch of good guys having fun - so don't get upset if they are making a little noise. They shouldn't be on any of the flightcrew floors if the convention housing people have done their jobs properly. If they are making any noise near your rooms, just ask them to move and they will. If you can't sleep, come down to the lobby and join in the fun!
BTW - there are a number of UPS and Delta guys that come to the convention, at least one JetBlue guy (me), and several controllers. And, don't forget the CEO of Frontier is a barbershopper. It's a cool hobby that is much cheaper than collecting remote control planes, boats or wives!
Have a great Independence Day!
