I've seen an Indy Air painted CRJ-200 in SLC last week and again this weekend in DFW on the Delta ramp. All of the Indy logos were covered, but the blue dots over the windows as well as NxxxBR registration numbers were dead givaways. Anyone have an idea of what is going on?

4 POS crj-200's were purchased by OO from blue ridge. Got 'em for a steal, as they were the ONLY planes that indy owned. The ones flying now are covering the lines of the 2 RJ's that tried to mate in COS eariler this month. The other 2 are being painted in to OO colors.

I'm sure a lot more will be available soon...

Actually only one of the four was owned by Indy, the other three were leased. Rumor has it that twenty more will be going soon as they get more Airbuses. Gas eatin POS........................Skywest can havem.......I would rather see Airbuses than CRJs anyway...........

14M per airframe was the going rate is what we were told. Not so bad as we have too many and we have been trying to offload those babies for 8 months. Should be 20 more on the way out the door, then we will have a chance for survival.

I heard Dependance needs those CRJ's back so they can fly them for United again!!!!

No, I think they just bid, I am sure Skywores will be cheaper, ohhhhh wait they can fly a 70 seater for same price as a 50 seater..........Daaaaaaahhhhhhh and with no union, who know what they will be forced to do.....!

Hey Shortbus....tooslow....whatever your name is. You sure have had some ax to grind with SKW lately. Is this because you were too scared to even try to go to the interview there? Or are you feeling your company doesn"t measure up? What gives? What is it that you are trying to accomplish?

It's true that OO doesn't have a union. That means management could freeze our pay without drawing it out through a union. Unlike ZW who took concessions and Mesa--well mesa speaks for itself. Maybe OO should vote in ALPA so they can take concessions too.

I know it sounds like I'm anti-union--I'm not. I think it's BS we fly the CR7 for the same amount as the 200.

Besides, it's not like FlyI has groundbreaking payrates for bus.
Maybe we should start a thread about how FlyI is bringing down the industry because they are willing to fly busses for less than:

Oh, look, Indy down here at number 20.

tooslow.

it seems that many posts you make here favors XJ like they are the cornerstone to the top of the world. i love XJ and think highly of them, but having worked for SW for a while, and seeing what a brilliant company they are in this regional business, how can you bash them like you do. sure, you can look at my hours and call me a low-time in-experienced dreamer, but i don't care. but how can you bash SW like that when you have not been around the pilot group that wouldn't cut off there big toe to be anywhere else in the regional business. yes, we are all in the same business, but putting SW on the bottem of the ladder is equal to saying Montana will not recieve any snow this winter. Yeah the union isn't there, but can you honestly tell me you have met a furloughes SW pilot or one that wants out of there to go to another regional. No, you can't, because you haven't, and you probably won't for the forseeable future. Geez man, i've heard many things on this board, but not many that relates to that last post you just made.

Oh CessnaCapt... it's wonderful when you choose to edit/cut instead of paste. Don't forget the bottom of the list being USAirways and Suncountry.... Also don't forget that should the UA concession round 2 go into effect, their A319/320 rates will be at OR BELOW IA's... Don't get me wrong, I hate it as much as the next guy, but I know it's more than SKYW's comparable rate for above 100 seats.

Another thing, I have no beef with SKYW and I would have loved to gotten on with them, had they been hiring when I got hired here. I commute from CA and this is where I'd rather be based.
