notes:
- used average of retirement if % was based on years of service
- jB figures based upon 81 hours/ month (average time of lines in Nov 2003)
2nd year FO: ((56*70) + ((56*1.5)11)/81 = 59.80
12th year FO: ((79*70) + ((79*1.5)11)/81 = 84.36
2nd year CA: ((113*70) + ((113*1.5)11)/81 = 120.67
12th year CA: ((126*70) + ((126*1.5)11)/81 = 134.56
- WN, Transmeridian, and Frontier figures using conversion rate supplied by website
- FedEx 401K rate is $500/year and not included in average
- Monthly guarantee is missing one figure (I screwed up and didn’t write it down)

Anyone who maintains they make industry average or better and doesn't meet this average (I can think of a recent airline that went 'independent', for instance) is simply misinformed.
This took me about 2 hours to compile and I didn't include higher rates for 737NG's and what have you at CO and AA. I would guess with regression analysis and the elimination of statistical outliers, this rate would in fact increase (you lose Delta, but you also lose Allegiant and what have you). I encourage others to verify my results. Though they may not be 100% accurate, they've got to be pretty close.
This info should be made available to all negotiating teams by ALPA, including non-ALPA carriers - we're all brothers in the end, right?
