Headed to a Campbell's soup can near you.

There's a cheery thought.

A bunch of IND airplanes are ending up in RFD for maintenance while they are waiting to be pawned off to the next lucky airline

There are 7 at RFD, MX and part time storage. There was some people that showed up today to do a pre-buy on three of the jets for bank.

Ive been seeing some Indy 200s up in YUL for the past few weeks....slowly trading places in a hanger over by our gate up there "80"

I saw about 20 in clarksburg West Virginia last month one that looked like it was getting preped for paint or could have been prep for long term storage.

Plenty more where they came from. Back in Tus there's at least a dozen more with indy colors, and about 15 to 20 in northwest colors all parked together. Someone could start their own airline.

ASA just started using 680BR. Supposedly it was up in Montreal a few days before it started flying out of ATL. We are supposed to get a few more. 680BR has fresh Delta paint but it still has the purple seats inside. Ugh!

I'm pretty sure CKB is storage airport for old planes and that. They also have a paint shop on the field.

CKB is a Bombardier maintenence facility, they pretty much do it all there. Last time I was there I saw quite a few Dash 8s that looked like they had been there for a while. I don't know if they were supposed to be there for long term storage, but it looked like that's what was happening.

Was up in YUL a couple time last month. Not only did I see a few Independence aircraft sitting around, I saw two Airbus 319's in full Virgin America colors. When are they starting up?

They're gonna bust America's cherry- from Canada. They'll sneak 'em in, sneaky like. Offering 125/hr top-end captain pay for the privilege of flying a shiny "virgin" French-made airliner.

is it true that some of the Airbus are in mexico for Interjet? saw them in monterrey, guadalajara and toluca last week and someone told me some of their planes were ex-indy.

2006. Oh wait, 2007, at the very latest. Or never.

They're having trouble getting an operating certificate because all the legacy carriers keep taking them to court arguing that it's really a foreign-owned/operated carrier in disguise. Popycock, of course, but at least the lawyers are getting rich.
