You are a complete Jack Ass and an embarassment to this entire profession.
Crawl back under your rock IDIOT!!

I've been accused of a lot of things but I don't think I've ever been an "embarassment to this entire profession".

I guess I will take that as a compliment. The profession was cool before my time. I watch guys like you grinding it out screaming union slogans and I hope that I never become that.

If it were 1970 and Pilots were drinking in the cockpits while getting a blowjob... I might be affended.

In 2006:
A pilot going by General Lee who flightinfo's despite the fact that he is on a 23 hour sit in AMS.
Tomct is screaming on a message board for another company to get a Union.
Go Around is towing the party line in the face of overwhelming evidence of failure.
737 pilot... IS ON THE REGIONAL BOARD. Dude you made it the show and are still giving sh!t to the guys in the minors. I really don't get that one.

So yeah I'm not like you I'm the new breed a throwback if you will. I realise this airline deal is f*cked. So rather than cry about it I'm going to enjoy every last drop until they spit me out and replace me with Ying.

Good luck guys go get em.... ALPA in 08

D, go back under Fred's desk where you belong. He's probably waiting for his morning bj so you should get right on that cause we all know you are all about giving Fred what he wants.

You forget that if DAL goes so does ASA and Comair? My ALPA reps here at ASA are working hard for ASA pilots and my dues are hard at work.

You should be watching what the FA's are doing cause you will be out of a job soon when they shut Comair down. It's impossible to run an airline with 7% of the FA's.

No one is afraid of the FAs. Just before the decision comes out they will give in like everyone else. Besides there is no legal ground on weather they can strike or not if the contract is axed. One fedral judge said one thing. Another would say another thing. If they do void the contract you can guarantee there will be injunctions. This is exciting new legal ground to test. It will set the tone for years.

No, you mean you hope they give in like you and the rest of the worthless comair pilots that voted yes.

There is nothing illegal about not showing up for work at an at will employer, moron. People do it everyday and they either get fired or have an excuse that gets them another chance. However, when 93% or more of a work group that is required to keep the company going doesn't show up, said company ceases to continue.

No federal judge can force anyone to go to work, injunction or not. Get a clue! There is no new legal ground being tested. Federal judge Prudence said that the federal courts have no say in whether or not a work group can strike or not. No one can make the FA's got to work if they choose to tell Comair managment to F off. They have nothing to lose when they could make more working the fryer at McDonalds.

Don't be so hasty to throw stones at the wrong windows. You escaped being dragged into the Delta bankruptcy ....... thank your lucky stars and be grateful for that.

Meanwhile, hope that the Delta pilots ratify their TA. If they don't, we will all be in the same unemployment line.

The Skywest people did make a big mistake by agreeing to a common rate for such a wide range of aircraft. Call it naivete or whatever you want; they're entitled to one mistake, provided they learn from it (unfortunately there's not much evidence they have if one judges from these posts).

Nevertheless, they now own your company. Making war with them will not get you a new contract. Neither will throwing stones at us, when you haven't walked in our mocassins.

Good luck with your negotiations. If you're smart, it will do you a lot more good to make friends of the Skywest group and get your acts together than it will to alienate them completely.

Try to recognize that your biggest problem is the fact that one company owns more than one airline and you, are one of those airlines. You are an alter ego to SKYW and they are an alter ego to you. That's your biggest hurdle.

Delta destroyed my airline and would have destroyed yours too if Skywest hadn't bought you. However, all you got out of that deal was a delay ... and a different owner who has the same power to destroy you if you don't correct that All that you did was jump from the frying pan into the fire. If you can't find a way to unite with the Skywest pilot group, ultimately you will both burn.

You are better off now because your new owners are not skygods, they're just like you. Get together with them or you will live to regret it.

It is true that one bad apple can spoil the whole barrel. Don't be that apple.

:rolleyes:Ah Crash...I am not sweating ANYTHING!! We are in control and will get a lot of impovements in this contract along with a good raise. It will be the skywst folks who will be happy because they will probably benefit from all of our UNIONS HARD WORK!!

Yeah, and I am sure that you will be happy when the new contract comes, because it will benefit you as well, right? But you will still have that SCREW ALPA point of view RIIIIIGHT!

So if we use your rationale, how many mistakes do the Comair yes voters get. First, a pay freeze(cut) for growth, second, a pay cut that brought you down to SKW rates. Maybe the FA's will say HEdouble hockey sticks NO and the pilots can weasle out of the second mistake.

I'm not making war with the SKW or Comair pilots(well maybe D'Angelho), I just disagree with certain decisions that they made.

I'm working on getting out of the regional airlines as soon as possible. I'm busy pulling strings to get on at SWA or a corporate flying gig. Ya'll can have the mess that is the regionals now.

Actually I'm pretty confident you guys will get airport reserve in the new contract which will ruin my rock and roll lifestyle.
You will problobly get that in exchange for a commuter clause... Another item I think is rediculous.

In the end you will spend years of complaining, slogans, bumper stickers, billboards, and b!tching and end up with a contract North of Mesa and South of Horizon. I'm guessing it will be real darn close to SKYW. I will pay a large sum for the honor and privlege of having a Union version of the SKYW contract.

Wait let me jerk you union guys off and give you the Horizon fantasy. You get a Horizon plus 10% contract. In this scenario we never see a new jet on the property, everyone becomes a lifer, and I never upgrade. Sure I make 8 more bucks an hour but the guy at CHQ who upgrades in a year blows me out of the water.

I know you Union hacks will tell me that our pay has nothing to do with growth. While that is a good bumper sticker an overwhelming amount of real world evidence is to the contrary.
But since I pay you guys to do the "Unions Hard Work" (a pilots idea of hard work cracks me up) here it is again.

1. Strike now and burn it down
2. You could make more at McDonalds
3. WHIPSAW!!!
4. SKYW is lowering the bar flying the 70 for 50 rates
5. Screw Scheduling screwed you. We need a fair contract.
6. All I want for Christmas is a fair contract.
7. SKYW get a Union now... You are unhappy, you are getting screwed, once you get a Union you can see the light that we have here at ASA.
8. Pilots don't buy airplanes.
9. It is a downward spiral and I wont do this job for less.
10. 4 Years is long enough for a fair contract.

Note I change up the list to make sure I get all the slogans in a week.

Since you're leaving why do you spend so much time stirring the pot when you really don't care? Just go quietly and let those who have a real stake work to solve their problems as best they can..

It is easy for those who have no commitment to be experts on how those who do should behave.

The pertinent word being "WORKING" on getting out. Who knows how long that will take. Hopefully soon.

As one that works for a group that helped turn the pot over. You can never get it all back in the pot.

Who says I don't care? I work to solve the problems that relate to me everyday. As long as I'm still where I am, I am committed to making it better. When I no longer have a dog in this fight I will shut up.
