HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAA!SKYW Pilot said:Ya... I'm da*& glad we're not in the same position as Air Indy. Our stock is up over 20 bucks a share and still climbing. I'm probably going to make profit sharing of over 5000-6000 dollars next year. We're growing like mad, also. They can have their airbuses.
SKYW Pilot said:Oh... ya... my wallet's really empty. The only airlines that make more than we do are Comair, ASA, and Horizon... it's not much, though. And after they pay their union dues, we're actually making more. With our new profit sharing program to start next year, we're blowing all three of them out of the water. I've also heard from pretty reliable sources that management at all three of those airlines has been trying to get concessions for a while. We haven't taken any pay decreases. I will concede that our 70 seat rates are B.S., and I voted that scale down. I'm confident that something will change, and if it doesn't, I'll vote this scale down too.
Here's a USAToday article that just came out...
First of all, let's not get too hyped out comparing regional pay rates. We're all underpaid.
Secondly, that article is not news. We submitted a bid due to a fiduciary responsibilty to our shareholders. Our management still believes in our plan, as does most of the employees. We were told from our president, that if "UAL didn't like our first bid, they definetly will not like the most recent one,"
A post like that....Yep, you must be on the SAPA pay committee!SKYW Pilot said:Oh... ya... my wallet's really empty.
