Ya... I'm da*& glad we're not in the same position as Air Indy. Our stock is up over 20 bucks a share and still climbing. I'm probably going to make profit sharing of over 5000-6000 dollars next year. We're growing like mad, also. They can have their airbuses.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAA!

Has Skywest management approved your pay raise for the 70 seaters yet?....NOPE! And guess what, they never will. I'm sure ASA and Comair is happy with your decision to fly 70 seaters at 50 seat rates...and good luck trying to undercut your competition for UAX and Delta flying...TSA, CHQ and MESA...can't beat their prices.

At least our management had the vision to get out of the game and go it alone. Your stock is going up, but your wallet is just as empty as mine.

By the way, we (ACA) were first on the UAL hit list, AWAC was second....guess who's third?

Hey,
Don't mind the kool-aid drinkers, they are the same dorks with the same kool-aid mugs in holsters on their belts. the rest of us are just sitting back wondering when the kool-aid hangover will kick in , those that swilled the most will have the largest hangovers. Jan 5ish will tell, same payscales and same work rules, thats what happens when you give all the aces up. Yeah we got the planes, I hope it helps the Indy guys keep their operation going. Those that are gloating are just plain stupid.

Oh... ya... my wallet's really empty. The only airlines that make more than we do are Comair, ASA, and Horizon... it's not much, though. And after they pay their union dues, we're actually making more. With our new profit sharing program to start next year, we're blowing all three of them out of the water. I've also heard from pretty reliable sources that management at all three of those airlines has been trying to get concessions for a while. We haven't taken any pay decreases. I will concede that our 70 seat rates are B.S., and I voted that scale down. I'm confident that something will change, and if it doesn't, I'll vote this scale down too.

Here's a USAToday article that just came out...

First of all, let's not get too hyped out comparing regional pay rates. We're all underpaid.

Secondly, that article is not news. We submitted a bid due to a fiduciary responsibilty to our shareholders. Our management still believes in our plan, as does most of the employees. We were told from our president, that if "UAL didn't like our first bid, they definetly will not like the most recent one,"

No... If I were on the SAPA pay committee, I would be yelling and screaming how great our 18 month TA is. And who's talking... with a name like Ben Dover, I think you're a better candidate for SAPA! (I couldn't let that one go!)

I like acting like a school child. Man, those were the days!

I agree with MELIT. I read this forums as often as I can and one thing I've figured out is this. You start with a topic followed by about two or three valid responses, and than someone always changes the subject to "your airline $crewed my airline" or some other off topic b.s. Still, I find it humorous to read some of this stuff (even when they are attacking my own company).

And by the way, it's not lost on me that my own posts has nothing to do with the original posts.
