There is no such a thing as "over powered"....lol....i think the 450 stearman I fly needs more ponys....:)
 
Try a Stearman with an R-1340 on it. I'm not sure about too much power, but a whole lot of weight and more drag. Closing the throttle has about the same effect as shoving the stick forward.
