If you happen to be taxing behind an ASA aircraft this weekend sorry in advance, but hey we are paid by the minute. Did you know the CRJ can taxi at a speed of 1 MPH? hmmm its going to be a long taxi to 26L money line or not.

I hope you guys do slow down, but I expect the usual ten or so of you doing a slow down, and the rest of the company moving at light speed and helping take bags off the planes.

Don't forget to look for those bonding straps! Safety is #1!

Just in case you've forgotten, you should be reminded that Delta and American pilots were both sued by their respective companies for "job actions". Online forums were a source of information for management to base their claims.

im a horrible speller but i can spell

supercalifragilisticexpialidocious, but cant think of an aviation acronym for it

Won't bother me at all. I'm paid from door close to door open. :)

I wish you guys luck. Do whatever it takes to end this thing. It's gone on far too long.

I think "CHAOS" has been trademarked or copyrighted or something by the AFA.

Please excuse Skippy, he's always wanted to be a Flight Attendant. :D

Creating
Havoc
Around
Our
System

A tactic used during the 90's by UA and Alaska F/A's. A series of random acts which would cause "Havoc" around the system.

The AFA's motto is "Pay us, or CHAOS".

One thing is for sure, ASA's battle is every single airlines pilot's battle. We all have the same bought-and-paid-for, utterly corrupt NMB to deal with.

Maybe a lawsuit wouldn't be the worst thing. The last thing the current administration needs right now is another series of blistering front page headlines exposing the corruption the current corporate-profit-based administration has sown.

Their are many pendulums that swing in American economics and politics. Unfortunately the labor/management pendulum has been stuck solidly on the 100% management side for several years.

All pilots need to work together to fix this problem.

let's not forget two things about ASA:

2007 1Q NET PROFIT $34,788,000.00

2007 2Q NET PROFIT $40,622,000.00

ASA wants to give no payraise on the 700 you have to be F kidding me!!!

:angryfire

Excellent point!!!! Unless our individual airlines have an incentive to get a deal done, we might all at one point or another have to deal with this BS.:angryfire

Sue away; that's why we pay dues!

Just curious from the ASA pilots. How do you feel about ALPA? If you had to vote for them to come on property and knowing what you know now, would you vote for them?

ALPA didn't get the ASA pilot group in this situation. An obstinate management team who is trying to break the union did.

If the ASA pilots were to begin a decert effort or something like that against ALPA they would simply be doing their management teams work for them.

Best of luck to you guys at ASA. I'm pulling for you. What you have been put through is absolute BS!

Exactly!

Besides... better a lawsuit than no job (to speak of) at all.

Mgt. would pay all pilots min. wage if they could get away with it. (And it seems like that's the way we're headed!)

ASA crews, best of luck to you ~ show us how it's done!

Slow it down and take your time. If you went flying off the taxi way at a blistering 2 knots whos nuts would they have in the vice? Safety first, then pax comfort, then on-time remember that! Plus remember when you push back you really need to take your time doing your checklist before taxiing off. You might want to go through it two or three times to make sure you got everything. This will also help those who dont agree with the situation to slow down and get their checklists right also.

Check out NMB.gov- go through the bios of the board and the mediators and see how unabashedly biased the makeup is. Most of them worked as employee labor relations managers at large companies.

No surprise they aren't letting ASA get released.

Have heard that some Delta pilots are already complaining...is this true? If so...DALPA, you should be ASHAMED of yourselves! How bout backen up your Union Brothers!

Hey,

Lat time I checked were all paid by the hour... until the last flight of a four day to a commute.:p

Regards. ...and don't listen to the immature a-holes who insist on having ground tell you to hurry up.
