I wonder if they took a part of another aircraft that "almost" matched like they did a couple years ago.

Boeing builds airplanes...Lockheed builds systems...Douglas builds...character.

Pretty funny... And Airbus is laughing all the way to the bank.

Seems like all the good news in commercial airliners in recent years is coming from over the pond. This is not a good thing and I hope Boeing can keep up.

And while all you guys are talkin' sh1t about "another guys aircraft" in your hotel room, I am at your house using your wife's computer on your toilet.

Hurry up in there. I gotta piss.

Nothing has ever happened to a Boeing aircraft?

hmmm... i remember the roof blowing off of one out of hawaii a while back.

Kalitta seems to keep losing engines off their 747's.

But those must have been sabatoge by the French of course.

Lets see Boeing is American made by Americans. I dont understand why we dont support our own here in the US rather than buying airplanes or anything else for that matter outside of the US. I try to buy American every chance I get even if it costs a little more but I understand that sometimes you dont have a choice. But Boeing verse Airbus should be a no brainer for any US Ailrine. All the good paying American jobs are being outsourced. Whats going to be left for are kids/grandkids someday? For me I vote with my wallet.

Boeings are ASSEMBLED by Americans. A lot of the parts that they are made from are made in other countries. I prefer Boeings myself but I'd be surprised if even half the parts were made in the States.

Uhhh...that's the way it used to be. Times have changed however. It's got an American name...as for the rest of the plane...for better or worse we now live in a global ecomomy.

Hmmmm, quick to bash Airbus. Have any of you ever flown an Airbus? If you haven't, then how do you know you don't like them?

Just like the corporate-only guys bashing on how terrible the -121 business is doing. Most of them never been there but they bash it all the same.

Just like the guys who fly for a small airplane operator and bash AA, DAL, UAL, CAL, NWA, and say why would they want to be a junior F/O or S/O when they could be a Senior Capt on a Jetstream.

Can we hear from someone who has actually flown Airbus and Boeing and why they like or dislike either?

Seems like Airbus is doing pretty good business and selling more aircraft than Boeing so they must be doing something right.........right?

I think it's funny how pilots argue Airbus vs Boeing...as if we (pilots) can make a decision on what A/C we fly. If you can upgrade to a larger A/C with better pay and it's an Airbus...guess what your gonna do? As soon as that Boeing die hard american flag waving F/O gets his Airbus CA slot, he's gonna run home w/ a bottle of french champagne and put Airbus stickers w/ little french flags all over his flight bag...not to mention putting on that Airbus tie pin you recieve on the first day of class.

Exactly.

But... I di'n get no pin!
