HI!

Just wanted to pass this along to those of you who use SABRE and don't deal with ICAO flight plans on a regular basis.

There are 4 functions that SABRE is pre programmed to generate with an ICAO flight plan

-generate A1 or A2 depending if you file block 18
-cancel CX
-delay L1
-change C1

Go to the edit flight plan documents function either by right clicking on the flight or by the flight plan thingee on the top bar. choose edit flight plan documents and it will bring up a list of documents to choose. after you have fixed what you want, go to the message control screen and either resend ATS block ot if its set up like my company, there is a spare ATS block on the list that is in M mode. just type in the doucment type you want to send (C1, CX, L1, etc) and then proceed as normal like you were resending any other document.

The delay one is pretty neat, you can delay a flight for up to 23 hours if need be. if you want to refile for an earlier time however, you gotta send a change message.

The change message might look kind of wierd because it is the long form of the flight plan, with all of block 18 included- you might see the color of the airplane, N number and the PIC's name if your company provides all that stuff.

Enjoy.
