IAD AME's

Not sure where to post this, but here 'goes:

Need info on AMEs in the IAD area. Went to my 'old' doctor's office yersterday and it was closed up last minute. Elderly guy, so I'm thinking maybe the worse (and praying he's fine). Long time USAir AME who was an absolute champion for local pilots. Been to the FAA search site, but I'm looking for personal references. PM if you'd like.

If the first number doesn't work, try the second one. He only does FAA flight physicals now and does it only part time. I believe Tue, Wed, Thu -days.

If Vlahos was the person that closed up, Dr Comunale in McLean (about 15 miles from IAD) can 99% of the time take last minute appointments (same day).

Vlahos is awesome....I have been to him twice....i think its $100......but i am not sure.....i have always had good luck with last minute apts with him
