Nope
Delay has it right, arrogance of people has brought many against Gen, 73, your 6, etc. The mainline guys could have designed a flowup system that would have eliminated many of these problems. But no one wanted the "Barbie" jet, and now it is entrenched in the industry. The mainline guys can't have it both ways and I don't feel sorry for them at all. The 76 seat'ish equipment is a good fit for the industry and there is no way mainline can do it for the same cost as the feeds, even if they did it for free the infrastructure is cost prohibitive.

Wal-Martification is occuring nationwide, and in virtually every industry. Your next-door-neighbour, and especially your CEO, would gladly sell you down the river to put an extra 5 cents in his pocket. Don't make the mistake of thinking that this lowering of the standard of living is happening only at the airlines. Greed pervades corporate America in a way now that we probably haven't seen since Upton Sinclair.

So true!

No, we'll do it for regular rates even if they are somewhat low. I'd rather have that than go backwards like your reductions.

73, you really have a mean and bitter soul, maybe this industry isn't for you.

Thanks for the advice, but this isn't my first career, and besides, I am just sick of (and I use the term loosley) people like you who claim to know it all! You see its pricks like you that sit there and judge everyone else on what they do then justify your own misdoings by slamming everyone else!

Ready for the decertification drive? You seemed quite eager to impeach those ALPO SOBs. I have the general on board too. LETS ROLL

You don't have me onboard, nope. If the MEC votes to give this to the membership and it really is a bad deal, then the membership will vote it down and they will have to renegotiate. The great thing is that our CFO just told the media outlets (including the USAToday) that everything is fine and now and everyone can purchase tickets with confidence. So, it really wouldn't be good if we have to go through this and everyone gets nervous, again. They will have to find a TA that is acceptable to 50.1%, and if this one has the stuff that everyone thinks it does, I doubt it will pass. That is reality.

Bye Bye--General Lee
