[jsoceanlord's post] has flame bait written ALL over it, nothing more and nothing less...
No, I disagree. I don't think JS is clever enough to be a flame-baiter...and he's too defensive. If I'm wrong, though, he's picked strange things to bait people with!

JS, none of us truly hate you, but to be frank, I don't think any of us have any degree of respect for you as a pilot...IF your stories have any basis in reality.

JS-

You are not hated here as you do not rise to the level of deserving hatred. You are, however, deserving of contempt; in which you are certainly held here and which I believe you misconstrue as hatred.

Virtually all of your posts are in regard to accidents, near accidents or violations in which you were directly or indirectly involved. The exception to this is your discussion of being found in posssession of illegal drugs.

The commom thread throughout your adventures is that for some reason, someone or something else is always to blame.

I disagree.

Your antics reflect poorly on the rest of us, as does your apparent inability to take responsibility for them. You are a loose cannon, a renegade and a hazard to yourself and others. Just so there is no misunderstanding, punk, that is not intended as a compliment

I've read a few of your posts, and being from the Islands myself I understand your situation a little more than some of the "Aces" that haunt this board. Because you could not get gas for your Tri-Islander @ o-dark thirty in the morning does not absolve you of blame. A Part 91 flight is determined by whether or not you were carrying revenue freight, not whether or not you were paid. (What pilot's gonna fly without getting paid?) By your own admission, it was "Urgent medical supplies" for your customer, the Post Office. If your boss pressures you to fly illegal trips and you accept, resign yourself to the fact it will be the only flying job you'll ever have. If you represent yourself in a hearing or correspondence with the FAA, you've got a fool for a client.
Remember the first two rules of Aviation:

1) Protect your own pink little ass- The Chief Pilot or company will not be around to take care of your family after you've been violated or planted in the ground.

2) See rule #1

 How much of an "ace" do I have to be to know that being caught with drugs and accumulating a stack of violations looks really bad on a pilot's resume?

Excellent points.
