Well of course we are all going to be issued AA seniority #s and given 170s and 190s to fly after APA is done with this round of negotiations. The flowbacks/furloughees will be given FO spots on the 170s and 190s while all the Eagle flowthrough guys will go straight to the CA seats, haha! Hows that one?

You're going to be extended.

Oh heres a good one straight from the horses mouth. An intern for AA was jumpseating on a 757 flight my buddy was on. Intern says he has been compiling the list of furloughees for the past few months, because AA is going to start recalling before the end of the year, they are expecting 10-20% initially will come back. For REAL! haha!

Now THAT is BS! Did you hear that from your Uncle's neighbor who works in Crew scheduling?

new aircarts and gpu's for san juan and its outstations.

That would make my life sooo much better, and add all new sun visors for all A/C and I just might stay another 6 years!

Here's one upgrade is 8 to 10 years oh wait that's true

Heres a good one, I left eagle a year and a half ago and am now a captain at skywest. There is/are no good reasons to stay at that place. I dont care what your argument is.

St. Thomas supposedly got a new cart. I haven't been there to see it myself, yet.
I think they took St Croix's because they haven't had one in a week!!!! Seems like every other leg at an outstation we are boarding with #2 runnning to cool the cabin....

oh yeah rumors.... Executive is getting the E170 and since it is NA, all the MQ guys can't bid for it unless there are vacancies or displacements.

I heard these rumors...enjoy..
APA's primary focus in the current negotiations will be to get the flowbacks back on line at AA.
Upgrades will go to 2 years at Eagle. Management bonuses will be foregone in the future and spread evenly amongst all hard working employees.
Need time off? Just ask. No need to call in sick, drop, fatigue, etc. Pay for all Eagle pilots will be raised by 60%. Showers and bunk rooms will be built at all bases for commuters. Maximum legs per day to be 4. Minimum overnight..9 hours behind the door. All FA's will be required to be 20-30 years old and hand picked by Victoria's Secret representatives.
Then again, these are just rumors. Can anyone confirm??

Cause I'm bored and want a good laugh. GO!!

In 1999 me and my classmates were new FO's on the SF3 out of DFW. The only cool things are about ready reserve was 1. Your Jepps were always up to date, and 2. Me and my classmates got to be on ready reserve together.

We were all board so we decided to see how long it would take for a rumor to spread. I don't know what it looks like now but the Eagle crew lounge used to look like a high-school cafeteria, cheapt tables, plastic chairs, nobody knows anybody and everybody keeps to their little clicks.

One of the guys noticed that suddenly when you printed out your HI3 (current trip sequence) all of a sudden there were 5 digits in your seniority number. So instead of being 2300 all of a sudden you were now 02300. This was 1999 so the big news was the world was going to end on 1/1/00 with the y2k bug because of not enough digits.

My other classmate took over, and stated in a really loud voice so the "big ears" on the adjacent tables could here...

"My sister works in the Oklahoma City Sabre underground computer center and her and a bunch of programers got called in over the weekend to reprogram the Eagle partition of DECS to add the extra digit to our seniority number. You know, this could only mean one thing...seniority list integration with AA this this week!"

This was 7am.

by 9am we heard back that "a big announcement was coming by Friday and Eagle and AA pilots would be integrated"

by 11am "there is a memo out to the chief pilots...ALPA is demanding date of hire and stalling the process!"

by the time we came back on the next day..."my buddy in the APA MEC said that it's true and APA was going to staple Eagle to their list!"

By the following Monday it had fizzled and I never head anything again.

It was great fun. The great thing was we never told anyone...it all got started from someone over-hearing our conversation. priceless!
