I need a good AME in CLT...know any?

Recently moved to CLT. Im in need of a good medical examiner.
No astronaut physicals please.

Medical

You have two main choices that I know of:

Dr Lutton at the old terminal at the CLT Airport. Carolina Aviation Medical 704-359-8988.

Dr. Charles Nicholson at the Concord Regional Airport. 704-795-2883. He is a retired surgeon now a part time charter pilot. A real nice gentleman and a reasonable medical check.

I have used both gentleman, I prefer Nickolson, He is closer to where I live, and he is $35 cheaper for a 1st with an EKG.

I have heard Dr. Long has retired, but I am not sure. ( Someone help me here).

The Doc at Carolina Aviation....whatever it is, is now Dr. Lutin.
They are often able to work you in without an appointment.

If you have BCBSNC medical insurance, Dr. Farrington in Salisbury will do the 1st with only the copay.

The best we've ever had in CLT was Dr. Long, who past away a couple of months ago.

It was always a pleasure to visit with him.

He'll be missed.
