Look I in no way want to be critical. Maybe you guys at Southwest can take this as constructive criticism?

I was taking Southwest from Oakland to San Diego a couple of nights ago. The ride was relatively smooth until we landed. Then I became very well acquainted with the seatback in front of me. Dude max braking and full TR just to not have to taxi back to the gate? Jesus I would have been fired for that unless it was a contaminated runway.

Look I know I fly corporate and I'm a young punk and don't know how life is so hard for airline guys and all that but come on. I literally face planted into the seat while the brakes were pumping from max to almost max. I looked back at the runway lights and we barely used 3000'. We then taxied to the gate to the west for a while!

Maybe I'm in the minority here but I would prefer a longer roll out to avoid the near bruising from the seatbelt. I'll keep my fingers cross for the arrival at OAK.

fly it like you stole it

Excellent!....I'm going to use that if you don't mind (but on an Airbus)
