Congrats, Lots of fun and lots of work at the same time. I'm smiling as I type this watching my 4 and 5 1/2 year old boys sword fight until the cryin starts. Have two near each other in age so the fights are not so one-sided. Buy a couple of boxes of large "Tootsie Rolls". They taste better and are cheaper than those dried out cigars. Good Luck!!

I found out about my wife being pregnant with our son by being hit in the head with one of those pregnancy test discs. He was not expected. But there is no feeling in this world like the one of knowing you are to be a dad.

My wife said to tell your wife not to worry about the weight. Eat right, and eat good quality food. Breast feed the baby and within one year she'll be back to being a size 1. My wife has had 7 kids and is 5'2 and her weight is 130. I really wouldn't want her much smaller then I would have to loose another 30 pounds. After 6 kids my wife weighed 105, number 7 did her in.....

As much as I miss debating with Fins & co here I brought my son home on Feb. 12 and this is my first post since then.

That "change your life" stuff that everyone tells you... all true but all worth it!

We'll see ya in about 14 years. Once they become teenagers suddenly they don't want anything to do with Mom and Dad. Then just as suddenly at 18 years they all want to stay at home. My oldest is 22 and she is still here, my 20 year old just got engaged, my 19 year old (the boy) says that staying home is cheap and he'll never leave. The rest are till in H.S. and Junior High and on down. We homeschool all the kids till high school so we stay pretty busy. The hardest thing in life is trying to balance between staying home with the kids and flying the days off and overtime to pay the bills. Reguardless for you life has changed, you are now a slave to the next generation. Kinda makes you appreciate your own parents more. Have fun.
