I know, I'm being greedy starting a new thread about ME, but not only did HIGHER POWER get me recurrent this weekend, but while I was in Dallas a CP called my wife and confirmed that I am IN the April 7th class. I am so happy I am gonna explode :) :) :) :) :) :) :)
Thanks to all of you for your support through this tough time. Finally got to meet Chase. The definitive Officer and Gentleman. And the team at Higher Power were awesome. They never charged for the sim instructor (Rod Lewin) or John Hoogerwerf who acted as FO for the recurrency. Both were absolutely outstanding. Professional and helpful. I am humbled by this whole experience. Happy days are here again

YEA PEG!!!!

I had a pretty good feeling that Mark & Joe would be more than willing to help you out.... great guys!!

Rod was my IP during the training @ HPA..... he'll do ANYthing for a case of Foster's!! ;)

Wecome aboard.... hope to follow you soon!!!?

Warmest Regards - Tred

Sweet!!!

What can I say my Haiku writting, crystal ball gazing comrade? The class wouldn't have been right without you - You have shown us that pool realy isn't just a list of possible applicants, but really is a "hired" list. Also, I feel guilty for not using HPA - what a class act.
Crew, we are on final, full stop LUV (somebody check the gear).

Congrats!!!

Pegasus,

Glad to hear that everything worked out. We were talking about your situation with some of the People Department folks at the deck party on Friday and they assured us that you were being looked after.

Welcome to the greatest job around!!! See you in OAK soon!

Congrats

Pegasus,

Congrats again. Great meeting you. Pls pass along my regards to the new folks on 6 April. I'll look forward to seeing the rest of your mates later in the month. Best to Laura. Kudos to HPA, PD Dept & the instructors at HPA for helping out. Glad to have you on board.

Hey Pegasus,

Where there's a will, there's a way. I'm glad it worked out! See you in a few weeks.

What a great story of everyone pulling together for Pegasus!

While I don't know you, Pegasus, I'm very happy everything worked out for you. It was very encouraging to read about how many people went out of their way to get you in this class. It sounds like the People Department went way beyond the call here, and Higher Power...well, I'm quite impressed. It sounds like your fellow poolies also pulled some strings on your behalf, along with some SWA pilots.

It times like these, it's good to read something so uplifting. Thanks for sharing your progress with the rest of us.

CongRATS!

CongRATS My Brother Rat!....Alas no longer a Rat, but a true card totin', peanut munchin' yoke activator!

So glad it all worked out for you. Yet another tribute to a great company, and the folks that make it that way.

Feet touched the floor yet?

Cheers,
Hooch

Congrats

Well I must have 2 or 3 of my KC-135 students ask me each month where to get their 737 type rating. Guess what I'll be telling them from now on?

Thanks guys!

I am printing this thread out and sticking it in my scrapbook so that if I ever feel a little down (most unlikely now) I can read it and realise how lucky I am:cool:
Again, thanks for all the support. It's been awesome.

See y'all in D. (spoken with a very British accent, of course:D :D )

Just another fine example of how people can help eachother.

I'm very proud to be a part of this big and still growing SWA family. What a fine additon you guys will make! Welcome to Southwest Airlines.

HPA is a quality outfit. Mark Sterns is the man!!

Congrats Pegasus!

I may be in Oklahoma in late April and should know in a week or so. I plan to drive down to Dallas a few times to visit a friend (a SWA FO & his wife).

If you can spare an hour or so, maybe we can meet for supper (a Yankee's evening meal often incorrectly referred to as "dinner"). ;) I believe I owe you a Caffrey's.

Well done!
