I got invited to new hire class at CHQ. Do you think it's good Idea to pay for web studey guide of Emb145 before I go to the class? or just wait and start over there? help me guys! ^^ Also what should I bring to the class?
Grab one a$$ cheek with each hand and run backwards toward the telephone pole aimed at your tater. I understand after the first 20-30 runs it gets easier to take. Bring lots of your parents liquor since you won't be able to buy any yourself for a long time.

I just got done going through Chautauqua's class and finished my LOFT on Wednesday. The only thing I suggest to start going over before you get there is Memory items and Limitations which can be found on www.Republicpilots.org. Just go there and print out the flash cards and get a head start on that.

As far as the republicpilots.org thing you have to be on the master seniority list to get access to any of the goodies.

freighttrash,
if you have any buddies..have them get you a copy if not pm me and ill help...if you learn your emergency memory items and limitations before you report in my opinion the battle is half won....theres lots of memory items and although you wont understand them until ground school you will defanatley have a leg up if you have all that stuff memorized.

In terms of preping yourself for 121 training I'd suggest reading "The Turbine Pilots Flight Manual". This will give you general overall knowledge of just about any turbine aircraft systems, let the instructors at your airline teach you the specifics of your aircraft.

Also Fly the Wing is a good read.

To that I would add that you just study the limits and memory (dont go crazy) items that the company should send you. (better yet go to republicpilots.org, there is a really good 145 study guide for limitations, memory items and systems. Free.)

P.S. you don't need a fridge is IND (crappy hotel has them), but a car would be nice if you live close enough to drive.

Bring a bunch of gay porn mags.....
