Well in my case a box of Magnums.

....and a pack of rubber bands. ;)

What are the Magnums for?

Sorry, I had to.

I never get to overnight anywhere, which is both nice at times and boring.

Well look at it this way, at least the hotel doesn't have to wash the hand towels:eek: , after you watch 5 minutes of spanky vision:p ! jk

An Sony PSP with many games, and a Laptop (if your plane hasn't a Teblet PC as EFB).

Okay I'll bite. I pack the same no matter how long the trip just in case.

1 - Pair Wrangler Denim Shorts

LD,

Please don't take offense, but...

Step away from the denim shorts and nobody gets hurt.

How to pack for a 7 day trip?

I'd just pack my laptop so I could type my letter of resignation while on the road.

I'm on my first long trip (a four day!) since back flying charter. I couldn't remember what to pack so I just took everything. :)

I love day trips!!!!!!!!

Just a tip to add. They make some really nice pants now that look like dockers, but have zippered legs so that you can quickly convert them to shorts. They are very handy when you have no idea if where you'll be flying to environment wise.

I generally pack the same on a 4-day as I do a 7-day, I just change the number of clothes I takes. Typically it goes down like this (assuming only flying 2 days):

- 4 pairs of casual socks, 2 pair of dress socks
- 3 golf/polo shirts (for flying - always like a backup)
- 4 or 5 casual shirts
- 1 pair of jeans
- 2 pairs of shorts
- 1 pair of running pants
- 1 pair of swimming trunks
- Shaving Kit (toothbrush, paste, razors, deodorant, cologne, etc.)
- Current book that I'm reading
- Typically the current monthly aviation magazine
- Digital Camera / Laptop a must
- Any snacks I might want in the hotel room for my stay.

All that typically fits very well on a larger-sized roller bag. For the less then 4 day trips I typically take a smaller-sized roller bag.

Forgetting things

Even on a day trip I usually pack a workout bag, and go hit the gym. Problem is I've (at different times) forgotten my sneakers, socks, shorts, towel, walkman, etc. So I'm trying to develop an idiot proof way of packing:) .

Ha ha ha ha ha! :)

All I can say is they look a lot dressier than the Speedos I normally wear out on summer nights.

:)

(BTW, you're right I forgot the chargers, workout clothes, and stuff, but those always go in my small carryon bag. Also to save space I tend to work out in whatever t-shirt I was wearing last. It's already smelly, right? :) I have some workout shorts, too, but lately I have just been going to the swimming pool. Trying to think what else is in there... Usually bills...)

Say it ain't so! You mean there's greener pastures than the WSCoD:) .

To think I've been dreaming this whole time to be flying a Legacy:rolleyes: !

You should try it. It's a lot of fun watching Sparrows give you the bird as they fly by. (Pun unintended.)

:D
