731s, check the flight level, the GE powered cargo Falcons won't cruise quite that high, and the fuel flow is a lot less than on the GE engines.

Hmmm....I'm not getting it much either...if you are talking about FL400...well, that's nice and all, but we routinely see FL430 and FL450 in our lears...with a G/S of close to the same and higher...

FL400-FL410 is usually the LOWEST altitude we fly at. Not all that impressive there chief.

I haven't flown a 20 with Pratts, only GEs and 731s.

As a former employee of IFL, it is sweet if you like to work 26 days a month, and your days off are soft. I think F/O's make about $18K?, maybe more in busy months.

I was kinda thinking the same thing... FL400 is where we start out if we have a full bag of gas... If I fly too long below FL400 I get a headache from the thick air...

I've had a GE Powered Falcon 20 up at FL 410, now THAT is a challenge...

Next time you are at FL400, look up at the contrail that is 11,000 ft above you and wave, I'll be wavin' back...

I think if you move the a/c on the Flight trax over the eastern shore in that picture. Maybe a Baron at FL040, it gets more "props" that that crap. It was another perfect storm today... a Nor'easter.
