If you call in sick at Lakes and they have reserves (read, one quarter out of the year) you might not hear anything about it. If they can't easily staff the flight (3 out of 4 times) the very fires of hell will rain down on your existence. Doctor's notes, "see me"s, "we're concerned about your reliability," etc. The next time somebody asks me for a doctors note I'm calling the POI.
