How much pain and suffering will the TSA make me go through trying to carry my camera bag onboard a Delta flight this Saturday? I normally don't bring a carry on but I don't want to check my Digital SLR and video camera.

Just the usual. You can even request that it be handsearched so that you do not have to x-ray your expensive equipment.

A while back the TSA pulled one of my 11 year old daughters (twins) for add'l search. After it was all said and done, we realized two things: 1. Wrong twin! The girls' had accidentally switched boarding cards. 2. The twin they searched had liquid glue and scissors in her backpack (from school) which they didn't see/find.
