Well our company has USAIG and they used to require 250 in type (the kingairs) before a pilot could act as single pilot PIC. (of course they also required Flight Safety Initial... hmmm.. who owns both companies?) I have been told they requirement has gone up, but haven't a clue. As I understand it, each insurance company has a different deal which is of course changable with the proper application of money.
