How much are your union dues?

I am curious as to how much others pay for union dues. At FL, we pay1.8%, plus a new 0.5% contract negotiating raise, for a total of 2.3%.

What do others pay?

At FedEx, the CA and FO's pay the same with ALPA which is 1.95%. If I am mistaken I am sure someone will corret me with the right percentages.

1.95 % - in the past 6 years I've paid between 600 and 1200 dollars per year in dues. And don't forget the $1/month merger fund.

Albie15 is right it is worth every penny when the company wants to wave you good-bye, or the FAA is on your tail. Or you can look at it as a very expensive magazine subscription.

Union Dues

ALPO worth 1.95%? That's an oxymoron. ALPO is the biggest waste of money I have ever seen. Why not resign from ALPO and pay Germane dues (about 1.55%). That saves a little AND ALPO is still obligated to represent you if you take an excursion from the runway. Tell me ALPO is worth it when Woerthless is taking home over 400K when the rest of us are taking 30%-50% pay cuts. Tell me your ALPO dues are worth it when the ALPO directors are enjoying life at ALPO's condo in Vail on your nickel. Yeah, it sure makes me feel like a sucker when ALPO pays the office manager with a staff of 200 more then the Mayor of SanAntonio Texas. Yeah guys, keep paying ALPO so they can keep living high. Not me. I'm outa there.
