How Many Republic pilots out earn usair e190 capts??

Usair 190 capts top out at $99/ hr and rarely break a 70hr guarantee- no work rules/rigs.

From a majors thread, a mainline us air pilot claimed just 5 republic pilots were topped out at $119/hr- so I'm curious-
I'm betting several hundred republic pilots out earn usair mainline 190 capts-
Am I right?
 
Don't know about Republic...but JB 5th yr FO is about $83/hr to 78hrs...and about $124/hr for all credit above 78hrs.

I did 96K for 2010 on 4th yr pay...$78/hr.
 
The real question is: how many Mesa 900 captains outearn all of you guys with doubletime ... wave get a life and go back to flufffing SWA on the majors forum...

Republic pilots MAY be A319/320 pilots(via F9) someday if that airline actually sticks around and doesn't continue it's current downward spiral. USAir E190 Captains on the other hand will be 767 Captains within 5 years as half of the company retires. I would say the USAir guys currently have the advantage, even though their payrates stink because they are babies and didn't want to accept the binding arbitration award like mature adults with integrity.

The GL is right in my opinion. USair pilots on the 190 have the most potential of being on a heavy faster than any pilots in the industry.

Ya Know general. I start reading your post and am actually in total agreement with you, which I usually am more often then not. Then you have to say something like this, and show your immaturity yet again. Why not just a leave statement like this off your posts and sound intelligent for once. Sentences like this make people completely disregard everything else you say, and make you sound as rediculous as Fuji. Everyone knows the East vs. West debacle and don't need your immature $.02 about it.
 
Regarding RAH pay rates. I have several friends around 9 years on the pay scale at RAH haveing just left there myself. If you bust your ass (working 18 day a month or so) and are a check airmen you can break the 100K number at RAH. A more typical 190 Capt. makes around 85-90K a year with 15 days off a month average. FO's top out around 35-40K a year as the FO pay scale is the same for every plane at RAH
 
Dont mind the general she's just a bit touchy about the lack of a flow up opportunity for the DAL pilots to RAH/F9. I totally understand how much it would suck to see your hundreds of thousands in career concessions go to create and grow a national company and then not be given the opportunity to work there without interviewing first! What a slap in the face!

You know what I thought was funny? How Delta placed Republic E170s flying for Delta on routes out if MCI against your own Midwest E170 flights. Hilarious! You guys can fight yourselves, and both go down the toilet if Delta eventually replaces your butts with a better operator like Gojets.

Nice try but i dont work at rah or f9. In fact people outside of your universe are capable of seeing it tear itself apart. In response to the rah vs f9 in mci that is only partially true as dal is using other dci carriers to compete in mci as well as using rah in city pairs outside of mci.

Either way your concessions are being used to pay for both rah AND f9s flying/growth. The only people who should find that hillarious are bedford and his drones, if it wasn't for your direct subsidy they would have been out of business long ago! Hilarious.. Sure. I agree.

Bedford sure seems to be laughing, all the while trying to figure out what to do with his MKC and MCI operations that are getting smaller by the day. Even the DEN ops can't support some extra E170s, hence a few more were added to the Delta side, still under the cap. The problem was when Bedford diversified with Midwest and Frontier, instead of just doing feed for the Majors. I don't see much growth at all for Frontier or the MKE/MCI ops. Even the extra feed from Delta might not be able to help those operations at all. Your hilarious analysis is still way off.

When I was a 170/175 J4J CA at Republic I grossed 80K in the 12 months before returned to mainline (mix of reserve and line holder).

note:If I remember correctly: 175/190 pay is the same and 170 is about 7 buck/hr less for a give pay grade.
 
So RAH doesn't have cancellation pay?
What about rigs? Daily? Trip/TAFB?

I agree with the potential and if I were at republic, I'd leave for USAIR- this isn't me saying republic is better- it's me pointing out the insanity of the USAPA stand where they can't negotiate for better rates -

I'd say most mainline capts are pulling in about $80k and FOs are doing $35k moving slowly up to $45k

The point is republic rates are comparable to mainline- and most expect a much higher earning potential to make the jump- if you get stuck on the 190 like some have been since '07 thats not happening-

I don't know where you get your information from but no one at US Air has been stuck on the 190 since 07.

From about number 30 and senior for 190 FO's are guys who choose to stay on it for one reason or another. Every FO below #30 (there are about 75 FO's for the 15 190's) is either a recall (08-09 furlough) or hired this past summer. In fact a good number of guys recalled in the past year and hired this summer are on or are in training for group 2.

The only time since the 190's came to AAA that guys have been forced onto it was back in the summer of 08 during the fuel spike furloughs - and most of those guys were able to bid off it by fall 09.
 
Largest aircraft at RAH (not counting F9 Airbusses) vs. smallest aircraft at LCC - got to take that into account somehow.

That said, even with looming retirements out East and recent profits, going to Airways is still a gamble I just can't wrap my head around.

Going to Airways is a gamble with much better odds than sticking around RAH.
