How long to hear back

Just wondering how long some of you guys/gals waited to hear anything after submitting a resume. I sent out several resumes 1 month ago and havent heard a word from anyone. These places are all hiring (from what i hear).
PSA,ASA,Comair,XJT. I have approx. 1200TT 400ME 4yr Degree (aviation).
I've been seeing interview experiences on the web form guys with a lot less time than me. Am I jumping the gun? What gives?
