A friend is trying to get on at NJA. He's a corporate pilot with a lot of experiance. I recommended him and just found out he will be getting an interview next month. His application was received at NJA in Sept.

Thats 4 months from the time he applied...to the interview only !!

This is posted just to let you future applicants know what the general time table is now.

Thanks for the update...I'm sure there are several guys (in addition to myself) on here waiting for the interview email to come and wondering how long it will take.

And expect just a little bit of slowdown with Christmas and New Year's.

Best of luck to all of you waiting for interviews and offers.

Time for NJA

I sent the resume in June, recieved and sent in App in july, App accepted e-mail july 28, Interview Dec 6, Class April 16. A lot longer process than I expected, but should be worth it.

What fleet did they assign and what domicile are you going to use? Did you indicate that you'd accept more than one domicile?

Congrats on the job offer and Merry Christmas!

I took the first Dallas slot offered. It is on the Ultra, thay Also offered the 400xp in may. Linda said that those are the only Dallas slots she had right now. Derinda said that they will offer your first choice city even if you have more listed (I listed them all)

Wow - that's interesting. I hadn't heard of Ultra new-hires for some time.

Enjoy the U-boat and the new job. Congrats again to you and a Merry Christmas.
