For all you 91/135 guys and gals ...

How do you generally spend your time at the FBO waiting for your pax to return?

Are there PCs in most of the larger FBOs?
(There isn't at BNA Sig :( )

Are there FBOs where you can hook your laptop into the Matrix (the net)?

Are there "dos" and "don'ts" associated with hanging and waiting?

Well there's your problem; don't go to Signatures. They're all eViL. Go a little further around the corner to Mercury and there's a PC and they have WiFi.

Seriously, though, most of the better FBO's have WiFi now. I spend a lot of my FBO sitting time studying (finishing the ole college degree) - which I should probably be doing now instead of surfing Flightinfo.

If all else fails, take the crew car for 3 or 4 hours and go sightseeing. No one else needs it. :D

Lastly, you could always beg the people flying bigger airplanes for a job.

some have computers, and most bigger fbos anymore will atleast have wireless for your laptop. the best ones have computers, a hot girl at the desk, and those otis something cookies. the popcorn machine is always nice too.

I like to put my little rubber pile of dog poo around in various places in the FBO and watch.

Hanging around the FBO right now. We do employee shuttles 3 times a week to TIx. It depends on who I am flying with, but the days are like this. Sometimes I go to the YMCA and work out, stop at Subway and grab a bite to eat. Other days we go to Cracker Barrel and eat a late breakfast.

We are wheels up at 7am CT and arrive in Fl around 10am. Do our stuff in Fl and are whhels up 1600 ET and back in Houston by 1730 CT.

Leading the exciting life of a Corp pilot.

Most FBO's have some sort of wireless set up. If they don't, just don't go there any more. One of the nicest was at DAL.
Anyway, here's a link to a place you can spend hours improving your education
