MY Airlines gonna merge with yours and we should have better seniority.....

I've got buddies who reallly got screwed over by this therefore we should be able to screw you guys

NO NO NO NO

Come on guys.. I've been guilty of it too... but after just about every airline posted a profit this past quarter lets not bicker about senoirity integration( our negotiating comittees will --gasp-- do their best in arbitration-- where it needs to be settled).... Instead lets trade ideas on how we will ONLY
move forward from this point ..... The Likes of Doogie P, Grinstein or Glass
have us on our heels. Pilots are starting to believe this whole cost neutral BS ....I guarantee that all of the bitching about DOH or Staple or relative on this website won't affect the outcome of the process...but what if someone shares a great Idea that could possibly be spread to the whole group that would help to unite us in only going forward in Quality of life.... let's start show that we could possibly share ideas on how we might do that

(yes I know I'm being way Idealistic)

If we buy into that cost neutral rhetoric then we deserve whatever we get. Us Airways just posted a $305 million dollar profit. That is huge. Annualized it is over 1 billion per year in profits, and considering the continually improving revenue environment it's only getting better. Management and investors are literally making millions off this merger. Nothing pisses me off more than hearing someone say they would be happy with a 5%-10% raise. We need to be talking 30-40%+ just to catch up with SWA. We are virtually the lowest paid major in the industry and for management to even mention cost neutral is a slap in the face to this pilot group.

What Parker is doing is trying to manage our expectations, so we'll be all giddy when he finally offers a meager 10% or so.
