What did the Apollo Moon Rocket generate?

First stage total thrust was 7.5 million pounds, as I recall. Five engines, burning kerosene and LOX.

My first assignment out of UPT was to the AF Eastern Test Range flying telemetry support for Apollo and other missions. One additional duty given to junior officers was conducting tours of the launch pads etc. Visitors especially enjoyed the "blow-up movie" depicting failures of early tests. We would pick up a NASA escort for a tour inside the Vehicle Assembly Building. These days, few visitors can get anywhere near the place.
