For the uninformed among us ( like me...), what is Indy Air ?

The Company is just winding up the fifth and last day of "pep rallies" for employees at a convention center near IAD. It's an all day event, some plasma TV's and cruise packages were given away. Some marketing details were announced to the employees (big-names in comercials!) Apparently our marketing budget will be bigger that CAL's or NWA's for the rest of the year.

Destinations were announced (top secret for now.) Uniform fashion show. Free stuff ...

There will be a news conference and webcast next week (I believe) coinciding with the ticket sales for the launch of the first four or five cities on June 16th.

What is the difference in time from the last service of code share with DAL and UAL vs the Launch of Indy Air?

Website intro is pretty cheesy and over-dramatic. Whats with the
"official airline of faster, easier, and less expensive"?

Faster, cheaper, less expensive what? Thats not even a complete thought.

As of early August there will be no United Express operations for ACA. It will all be Independence air (flyi.com) flying, about 300 departures out of IAD. As of October '04 Delta wants ACA to stop flying under the Delta Connection code. Nobody knows yet when that transition will be complete but all of the D328 jets will not fly under the Independence air banner, there are most likely going to Skyway.

I don't think that most people realize how quickly this trasformation will take place!. It is a little scary but I think it has great potential!!!!!

They are concurrant, in that Indpendence Air will launch on June 16th. The UAL contract will continue until sometime in August.

30 CRJ's per month will be transferred, after they are painted and given new interiors.
