Four years of negotiations, ridiculous and a big fukkking waste of time. Just imagine what would happen if the same amount of time and effort was put toward having the RLA amended! That is what really needs to happen, and labor groups wouldn't be facing crappp like this!

Slowing down won't do a thing. We don't get paid block or better. We get paid historical block. Teamsters are being secretive with what they are asking for and have not talked about specifics. They are only saying that mgmt want to give us a 5% paycut and lower our 401K from 10% to 6%.

They are the highest paid regional paid pilots in the country. How do I know you ask? I was there, that's how. You guys ain't getting a huge raise but the fact that they have the balls to ask for concessions when the air group just posted a $87 million profit for 2009 shocks the he!! out of me.

stay strong & give em hell guys. This AS pilot supports you. (when I get back that is)

What kind of crack are you smoking? Highest paid? No way. That would require work rules.

We need to keep our pay and get out work rules back. Then we will have the best contract. A rumor from a friends, friends, ect. The final straw that broke the camels back was:
Company wanted a 5% cut across the board and the union would only accept a 4% cut for captains. 401K from 10% to 6%. The work rules and QOL would have been much improved. They also wanted us to join the PBP from profit sharing. That is what i heard.

Remember when G.B. was running the show!!??
"juvenile delinquents in uniform" remember??

I think some major changes happened after all that.
4 years of negotiating without a contract and guys/gals on the street.

Fly safe, fly very, very safe!!

Well, one could argue that it is. Because if ALPA wasn't busy helping management whipsaw pilot groups, a livable wage would be made by RJ pilots on major airline seniority lists.

Fixed it for ya.

Fixed it for ya.

If it aint broke, don't fix it!

And the mainline guys had their shot at those little airplanes. But it seems they need to make up for the lack of "disco stick" and could only fly the big airplanes.

Well, they have their big airplanes, and a little paycheck. I don't even think their paycheck would cover a year supply of Enzyte. In the mean time, I'm sure a sock would suffice.
