OK Southbound, when I first posted the rumor of Horizon and the college degree issue I wasn't trying to start a fight. It was more or less to state that the company will pass up many qualified individuals who may or may not be currently enrolled in college, and just because they don't have a degree or are not finished with their degree doesn't meen they are unqualified. Horizon is a good company they must treat their pilots well for having such a senior group.
As for your high English and grammar standard for flightinfo, even you the English master was called out by freightpup for misspelling (UNDERSTAND). To be honest with you I don't review my posts, its a DISCUSSION BOARD not an ENGLISH GRAMMAR BOARD. So why don't you start posting with the english teachers on a different forum and stop trying to put down your fellow pilots on this board. Feel free to edit my post again because I didn't check the spelling and grammar, that is what knowitalls like you are for.
And Southbound I invite you to come out to ORD with the big boys in your weed wacker and I will buy you coffee. You can even ride in my jumpseat on my south american pile of $hit, and you can tell me how much better life is on your dash. Regards- your pilot brother from another mother!
