A wet commercial should get you in at the legacy carriers, demand is sooper dooper high right now and there aren't any guys out on the street or anything.

United - pilots on furlough
USAirways - pilots on furlough
ATA - pilots on furlough
Continental - pilots on furlough (supposedly recalling this year)
Northwest - pilots on furlough
Delta - pilots on furlough
American - pilots on furlough

America West - may be still hiring
Southwest - were hiring recently (stopping interviews at the end of Feb.)
Airtran - I think they are hiring, not 100% sure
Jetblue - ??? noone is on furlough
Frontier - ???

UPS - hiring.....you pretty much need to have a management rec. from what I heard
FedEx - hiring......good luck if you don't have a rec. and a gazillion hours or ex-military

So there you have it, depressing huh?

You are competing with pilots with thousands of hours and time in type....Good Luck.

I apologize, I can't help my wise a$$ self sometimes. Capt. Megadeath was right on. The "good" news is that Jetblue, Southwest, UPS, Fedex, Airtran are all currently hiring. Frontier, America West, Continental and Alaska may be hiring by the end of the year. In all honesty, things are starting to look up at bit. If you are a CFI and looking to move on this year I think your best bets would be Skywest, Horizon, ASA, Comair (not sure if they are hiring or not) - I am sure I am missing some. It really depends on what you are after...looking to stay somewhere geographically, quick upgrade, etc. I am at a regional that is hiring this year, PM me if you have questions. Hope that was more helpful than my previous response (although, come on...it was KINDA funny!)
