Slice was just trying to help out. An STS was most definitely adequate, if not necessary.

He wasn't trying to piss on your Cheerios, so get off his six (so-to-speak).

By the way are you still looking for a Guard slot?
Glad to see someone gets it(sts):D
USMC33, I'm a former Marine in who lives in the DC area, you can bet your ass I'd cross the street. Semper Fi.

Hate it when that happens

This should be good. Let us know when and where said street crossing will occur and I'll bring the popcorn.

Can I get a so-to-speak!?

Congrats dude. If you have the $, I'd recommend getting your IFR before going to UPT. Not required, but it will make your life 1000 times easier when you get to the instrument phase!

I got a laugh out of the STS pitch and catch (uhhh, STS!), but I disagree about the instrument rating. Skip it. You'll be ahead for 2 rides, max. You'll get it for free in UPT, and you definitely do not need it to be sucessful in the T-37 instrument phase.

BTW, I AM in DC until Saturday around noon. Stayin on 10th street....can I walk to 8th and I???? My money's on the former Marine to beat the former Marine's ass...any takers??

How long is your seasoning going to be? I know it varies by unit. Some are 2 yrs others are 6 months.

Congrats J!

Don't forget about those poor grunts down there taking fire and needing you to blow someones azz back to the PreCambrian era. :D

(I used to be one of those poor grunts watching the A-10s at Hood and thinking ... "Man, that looks like a lot more fun than what I'm doing." :erm: )

this is probably a retarded question, but what does it take to be an A-10 driver. Degree? Age limit? any info would be awesome.
