Glad to see someone gets it(sts)USMCAirWinger said:Slice was just trying to help out. An STS was most definitely adequate, if not necessary.
He wasn't trying to piss on your Cheerios, so get off his six (so-to-speak).
By the way are you still looking for a Guard slot?
This should be good. Let us know when and where said street crossing will occur and I'll bring the popcorn.:laugh:Slice121 said:Glad to see someone gets it(sts)

Congrats dude. If you have the $, I'd recommend getting your IFR before going to UPT. Not required, but it will make your life 1000 times easier when you get to the instrument phase!

Don't forget about those poor grunts down there taking fire and needing you to blow someones azz back to the PreCambrian era.
(I used to be one of those poor grunts watching the A-10s at Hood and thinking ... "Man, that looks like a lot more fun than what I'm doing." :erm: )
Jpilot23 said:this is probably a retarded question, but what does it take to be an A-10 driver. Degree? Age limit? any info would be awesome.
psysicx said:How many hours are guard pilots getting in 2 yrs? Someone told me that 800hrs was possible with 2 deployments.
psysicx said:I'm talking about fighters. 800hrs seemed like a lot of time. But is it possible to volunteer for deployments?
psysicx said:Thanks thats what I figured. They were figuring in a 4 month deployment to the desert each of those years. Still 300hrs isn't bad.
