Just got the call for a 4-27 class!!
Very grateful to all those who provided gouge and insight.

No offense but you seem a bit overqualified. Did you work for Independence? Where did you fly the mighty twin beech?

Hey Southbound,
Yeah I used to work for Indy. I had a great opportunity to fly short hops and coast to coast.
I chose Horizon cause I live here and never want to commute again.
I have plenty of years left to make a good living from Horizon and I enjoy the regional type of flying.
Some people think I'm nuts, but everyone wants something different out of life.

P.S. I used to fly the Beech out of Wakeman, OH

Congrats.
This is a good time to come to QX. We are expecting a lot of hiring over the next few years. With our planned growth the captain upgrade time will hopefully start to fall below the six year mark.

Do you know what airplane you will be in?

shocks, pegs......LUCKY.
Sweet glad to hear QX is still bringing in some good numbers!

Congrats. I think your plan to stay there is a good one. QX Union has done something right, need only look at your sister airline to know what I'm talking about.

Thanks to all for the warm wishes. I'm glad to be of service, padding your seniority number!

I just received my study packet. Wow! I am totally surprised by the difference between QX and my last company. My previous employer never released study information early. God forbid someone wanted to study hard and do well on the test. Of course, the company was known for its 99% failure rate for 2-3 years.
