Is it required to apply at a regional airline??

There is NO reason for it.

1. It is only required to act as PIC of an aircraft with a MOA above 25,000'.
2. A type rating in an aircraft with an MOA above 25,000' supersedes the requirement for the HA endorsement--again, only required as PIC.

Question

Lets say you have a type in an aircraft with a MOA above 25,000' (ex DC-9); to operate as PIC in that airplane, you don't need a HA endorsement. With that type rating, do you need an endorsement to act as PIC an aircraft that doesn't require a type, however has a MOA above 25,000' (ex King Air C90B)? I understand that insurance would require one, but legally is it required or does your type in the DC-9 act in leau of a HA endorsement?

If you have a DC-9 type, you can fly anything.
