If you have a DC-9 type, you can fly anything.Question
Lets say you have a type in an aircraft with a MOA above 25,000' (ex DC-9); to operate as PIC in that airplane, you don't need a HA endorsement. With that type rating, do you need an endorsement to act as PIC an aircraft that doesn't require a type, however has a MOA above 25,000' (ex King Air C90B)? I understand that insurance would require one, but legally is it required or does your type in the DC-9 act in leau of a HA endorsement?
